Help Guide Wireless Noise Cancelling Stereo Headset MDR-ZX780DC Using the supplied headphone cable You can use the headset as ordinary wired headphones by connecting a device via the supplied headphone cable. The headset can be charged while in use. 1 Connect a playback device to the INPUT jack with the supplied headphone cable. If you connect the headphone cable when the headset is on, the headset turns off automatically. Note Make sure you connect the L-shaped plug to the playback device. Use the supplied headphone cable only. Make sure you insert the plug firmly. The BLUETOOTH function cannot be used. The jog switch ( / / / ) and VOL +/- buttons cannot be used. Hint To turn on the noise cancelling function when the headphone cable is connected to the headset, press and hold the POWER button for more than 2 seconds. When the noise cancelling function of the headset is turned on, you can use the headset as noise cancelling headphones even if the headphone cable is connected. In this case, the headset does not turn off automatically when you connect the headphone cable. The headset cannot be charged while in use. When the noise cancelling function is turned on, the headset turns off automatically if you disconnect the headphone cable. When an incoming call arrives, a ring tone will be heard via the headphones. Answer the call using your smartphone or mobile phone, and talk using the microphone of the phone. You can hear the voice of the caller from the headphones. If you disconnect the headphone cable from the smartphone or mobile phone, you can talk using the microphone and speaker of the phone. 42

Using the supplied headphone cable
