Troubleshooting Messages Follow the instructions below if an error message appears in the display. Message AVLS CANNOT PLAY DATA ACCESS ERROR EXPIRED FILE ERROR HOLD LOW BATT MG ERROR Meaning The volume level exceeds the rated value while the AVLS is enabled. • Your Network Walkman cannot play certain files because of incompatible formats. • Transferring has been interrupted forcefully. Accessing the built-in flash memory. A malfunction is detected. The song is playback restricted by the copyright holder. • The file cannot be read. • The file is not normal. All operation buttons are disabled since the GROUP/HOLD switch is set to HOLD. The battery is low. An unauthorized distribution file is detected for copyright protection. Remedy Turn the volume down or disable the AVLS. If the file cannot be played, you can erase it from the built-in flash memory. For details, refer to "To delete abnormal data from the built-in flash memory" (page 39). Please wait for access to complete.
