Your notebook includes two PC Card slots. PC Cards enable you to connect portable external devices such as another hard disk drive, or a PC Network Interface Card (NIC) to connect to a network. ✍ The PC Card slots can accommodate two Type I/II PC Cards, or one Type III PC Card. These slots are compatible with CardBus. Use the lower slot for Type III PC Cards. You do not need to shut down your notebook before inserting or removing a PC Card. Using PC Cards
Your notebook includes two PC Card slots. PC Cards enable you to connect
portable external devices such as another hard disk drive, or a PC Network
Interface Card (NIC) to connect to a network.
To insert a PC Card

Insert the PC Card into the PC Card slot. Make sure the front label of the PC
Card is facing up.
