VAIO Slimtop™ LCD Computer User Guide ✍ When the card is inserted correctly, the eject button pops out. If the card does not insert easily, make sure the card is not being inserted upside-down or backwards before carefully reinserting the card into the slot. Do not forcibly insert the card. See the manual that came with the PC card for details on using it. To close the front panel when the eject button is protruding, fold the button down onto the computer. To Eject a PC Card ✍ If you eject the PC card incorrectly, the system may not work correctly. 1 From the Start menu, point to Settings, and then point to Control Panel. 2 Click the PC card icon. 3 Click the name of the card that you want to eject, and then click Stop. 4 When the message "You may safely remove this device" appears, click OK. 5 Push the PC card eject button on the front panel of the system unit. You may need to pull the eject button out from the computer before you can eject the card. 30
