The AC adapter provides for convenient mobility, allowing you to use the CLIÉ handheld wherever you go. Charge the battery with the AC adapter. • Since the supplied AC adapter automatically converts both frequency and voltage, an additional converter is not needed when charging the battery. (AC 100 to 240 V, 50-60 Hz) Note Do not connect the supplied AC adapter to the transformer designed for traveling purposes. It may result in an excessive heat and malfunction. Connecting the plug adapter Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN connector of the plug adapter (1), then connect the plug adapter to the interface connector of your CLIÉ (2). This is normal. • Keep the unit away from TV or AM receivers, as it will disturb reception. On cleaning Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth, or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzine, which may damage the finish.
