V-mount Batteries BP-GL Series and BP-L Series Lithium-ion Battery Packs come with a durable V-mount mechanism, which provides high compatibility with a variety of Sony professional camcorders, some portable VTRs, and video monitors. The BP-GL Series boasts high power in a compact and lightweight body, plus intelligent functions. The BP-L Series is characterized by long life. Improved Cycle Life (BP-GL95A/GL65A) The BP-GL Series prolongs cycle life over its predecessor model. Utilizing highly durable cells, it retains 30% higher capacity at 250 cycles than its earlier model.*1 *1 Actual battery life may vary based on different operating conditions and settings. Four-step Remaining Capacity LED Display The four-step LED display on the side of the battery provides an accurate and at-a-glance indication of remaining capacity. BP-GL95A/GL65A/L80S/L60S Intelligent INFO Function (BP-GL95A/GL65A) The BP-GL Series is equipped with a professional INFO function that shows the remaining capacity, charging time, and charge cycles on INFO-compatible equipment such as Sony chargers and camcorders. 100 to 80% 79 to 60% BP-GL95A/GL65A 59 to 40% 39 to 20% Battery Remaining Display on Viewfinder When using the BP-GL Series with a compatible camcorder from Sony, users can see the remaining capacity on the camcorder's viewfinder, in terms of percentage (in 10% steps) or voltage.
