Downloading the NAVITUS Design settings to the Remote Commander You can dow nload the settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design to the Remote Commander w ith the USB cable. 1. Conne ct the Re m ote Com m ande r to your PC w ith the USB cable . Note s o Before connecting the Remote Commander to your PC, be sure to connect the supplied AC pow er adaptor to the Remote Commander. o Do not disconnect the USB cable from your PC until dow nloading of the settings to the Remote Commander is complete, as a malfunction may occur. o Do not connect several Remote Commanders to your PC at the same time, as you w ill not be able to dow nload the settings to the Remote Commander. Connect only the RM-NX7000. 2. Click "File " of the m e nu bar, the n s e le ct "Dow nload to NX7000." The "Dow nload to NX7000" dialog box appears. Hint If the project you are editing is not saved, a dialog box appears to confirm the saving before the "Dow nload to NX7000" dialog box appears. To save the project, click "Save." If you do not w ant to save the project, click "Don't save." 3. Click "Dow nload." The operation after this step differs depending on the "Backup copy" settings, in the "Options" dialog box. (1) Whe n s e le cting "Auto" in the "Back up copy" s e ttings After the Remote Commander settings are backed up on your PC, the settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design are dow nloaded to the Remote Commander. When dow nloading is complete, a dialog box appears to confirm backing up the Remote Commander settings. Go on to step 4. (2) Whe n s e le cting "M anual" in the "Back up copy" s e ttings A dialog box appears to confirm backing up the Remote Commander settings. If you click "Yes," the same process as (1) is done. If you click "No," the same process as (3) is done. (3) Whe n s e le cting "No back up" in the "Back up copy" s e ttings The settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design start to be dow nloaded to the Remote Commander immediately. (The Remote Commander settings are not backed up.) When dow nloading is complete, a message dialog box appears. Complete the operation by clicking "OK." Note s o If the data capacity dow nloaded from NAVITUS Design is larger than the memory capacity of the Remote Commander, an error message appears w hen you click "Dow nload." In this case, decrease the dow nloaded data capacity, by deleting unnecessary components from the Home display or decreasing to use the imported image files for w allpaper/skin. o If the version of NAVITUS Design is older than that of the preset signal data of the Remote Commander, a dialog box appears to confirm updating of NAVITUS Design w hen you click "Dow nload." If you click "Upload," NAVITUS Design is updated automatically. 4. Click "Save as " in the dialog box to confirm the s aving. The "Save backup copy as" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to save the backup copy of the Remote Commander settings as a project. 5. Ente r a proje ct folde r nam e on the right s ide of in "Input a project folde r nam e ." 6. Click . A dialog box appears to select a folder. 7. Se le ct the folde r in w hich you w ant to s ave the project, the n click "OK." The display returns to the "Save backup copy as" dialog box, and the selected folder is displayed on the left side of . 8. Click "OK." The "Save backup copy as" dialog box closes, and the backup copy of the settings is saved under the project name entered in step 5. Hint Even if you click "Don't save" in step 4, the backup copy of the Remote Commander settings is temporarily saved until you exit NAVITUS Design. To save the temporarily saved settings as a project, click "File" of the menu bar, then select "Save backup copy as." Downloading the NAVITUS Design settings to the Remote Commander
You can dow nload the settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design to the Remote Commander w ith the USB cable.
1.
Connect the Remote Commander to your PC with the USB cable.
Notes
o
Before connecting the Remote Commander to your PC, be sure to connect the supplied AC pow er adaptor to the Remote Commander.
o
Do not disconnect the USB cable from your PC until dow nloading of the settings to the Remote Commander is complete, as a malfunction may occur.
o
Do not connect several Remote Commanders to your PC at the same time, as you w ill not be able to dow nload the settings to the Remote Commander.
Connect only the RM-NX7000.

Click "File" of the menu bar, then select "Dow nload to NX7000."
The "Dow nload to NX7000" dialog box appears.
Hint

(1) When selecting "Auto" in the "Backup copy" settings
After the Remote Commander settings are backed up on your PC, the settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design are dow nloaded to the Remote
Commander.
When dow nloading is complete, a dialog box appears to confirm backing up the Remote Commander settings. Go on to step 4.
(2) When selecting "Manual" in the "Backup copy" settings
A dialog box appears to confirm backing up the Remote Commander settings.
If you click "Yes," the same process as (1) is done. If you click "No," the same process as (3) is done.
(3) When selecting "No backup" in the "Backup copy" settings
The settings you made w ith NAVITUS Design start to be dow nloaded to the Remote Commander immediately. (The Remote Commander settings are
not backed up.)
When dow nloading is complete, a message dialog box appears. Complete the operation by clicking "OK."

Hint
Even if you click "Don't save" in step 4, the backup copy of the Remote Commander settings is temporarily saved until you exit NAVITUS Design.
To save the temporarily saved settings as a project, click "File" of the menu bar, then select "Save backup copy as." The "Save backup copy as" dialog box
appears, and you can perform the operation from step 5.
