Enjoying Surround Sound Adjusting the Sound Although this speaker system's sound quality is already adjusted, you can change the settings, as you like, for each surround mode individually. The following settings, except the balance, remain stored in their respective surround mode until you change them. To adjust the super woofer level adjust the bass level adjust the treble level adjust the balance press S.WOOFER +/ - BASS +/TREBLE +/BALANCE L/R* • Since BALANCE L and R control sound from the left and right speakers, they have little effect on DOLBY PRO LOGIC when the source software has a high proportion of center-channel sound. To restore the factory settings Press RESET while adjusting the level. Making the adjustment with the main unit Press SELECT to select the sound you wish to adjust. Adjust with the +/- buttons. Pressing SELECT goes through the settings in the following sequence. S. WOOFER LEV (super woofer level) ♦BASS MASTER VOL (volume) ♦ TREBLE If INPUT is set to MIX, then the "MIX BALANCE" indication appears first. Using an External Center Speaker Since this system incorporates a center speaker (see page 4), you do not have to connect a center speaker. However, it is possible to connect a center speaker, it vou already have one, to the EXT CENTER SI' terminal.
