Troubleshooting If you've experienced any of the following difficulties while using your phone, use this troubleshooting guide to help you remedy the problem. Remedy
Make sure you have set up the base phone correctly

Move the cordless handset closer to the base phone.
Make sure the telephone line cord is securely
connected to the telephone outlet.
Make sure the battery is fully charged (page 11).

Make sure the dialed number is really the one you
want to dial.
During phone conversation, press
(VOLUME)(+)
on
the base phone to increase the speakerphone volume.
Make sure that the Long Distance Saver function is set
to “ACTIVE” (page 19).
Make sure that the registered access number is correct
and if the service provider needs any registration
beforehand.
Set the RING switch on the cordless handset to ON.
The battery may be weak. Charge the battery for more
than 12 hours (page 11).
