Activates the picture-inpicture function. Toggles between the previous and the current channels. Selects the wide picture mode. Selects output signal from the aerial terminal: TV signal or VCR program. Selects input signal: TV input or video input. Auto Format Decoding. Turns off sound field or selects 2CH mode. Selects sound field mode. Selects MULTI CH IN source. Mutes the sound from the receiver. Press to output test tone. Press this button repeatedly to select one of the two cursor modes: LEVEL and SURROUND. Remote Button Operations Function MASTER VOL +/- Receiver Adjusts the master volume of the receiver. MENU Receiver Selects a menu item. MENU +/- Receiver Makes adjustment or change the setting. MENU DVD Displays DVD menu. F/f/G/g DVD Selects a menu item. ENTER DVD Enters the selection. RETURN DVD Returns to the previous menu or exits the menu. TITLE DVD Displays DVD title. ** Only for Sony TVs with the picture-in-picture function. Changing the factory setting of a function button If the factory settings of the FUNCTION buttons don't match your system components, you can change them. For example, if you have an MD player and a tape deck and you don't have a CD player, you can assign the CD/ SACD button to your tape deck. Note that the settings of the TUNER and FN SHIFT functions (VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3, PHONO and MD/TAPE) cannot be changed. Additional Information 49
