English Fueling Preparations Threaded filler cap Opening the toolless filler cap 002BA419 KN Refueling Take care not to spill fuel while fueling, and do not overfill the tank. STIHL recommends use of the STIHL filling system (special accessory). N Always position the machine so that the filler cap is facing upwards. One of two different filler caps is installed as standard at the factory. N Swing the grip into an upright position. N Position the cap with the grip in an upright position; the raised positioning marks must line up. N Remove the filler cap. N Fold the grip down so that it is flush with the surface. Preparations
N
Before fueling, clean the filler cap
and the area around it so that dirt
cannot fall into the tank.

Always position the machine so that
the filler cap is facing upwards.
