Maintenance and Care Charging recommendations: ■■ The battery does not need to be fully discharged before recharging. To maintain proper state of charge calibration, run and charge the mower at least once a month. Complete a full charge every six months. ■■ A battery left uncharged will slowly discharge. Before initial use each spring season, be sure battery has a full charge before mowing. ■■ Check the battery every six months and charge the battery if the power level is below 50%. Battery Action Capacity 5%-10% The mower will be in a low battery mode and the max driving speed will be 6 mph, the max blade speed will be 2800 rpm for 48'' mower, 2600 rpm for 52''mower, 2400rpm for 60''mower. ≤ 5% The blade motor will stop automatically, and the max driving speed will be 6 mph. The mower needs to be charged immediately. 7.2.2.2 Battery Charging WARNING See the charger manual for warnings and instructions for charging. Read and understand all its safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow them may result in electrical shock, fire and/or serious injury. WARNING To reduce the risk of fire and explosion, keep open flames and sparks away from the mower and its battery. Ensure proper ventilation around the mower while charging. To charge the battery, follow the instructions provided by the BATTERY AND CHARGER section as well as all warnings included in the OPERATOR SAFETY section of this manual. See the charger manual for additional instructions and warnings. Charge the battery until fully charged. ■■ Open the charging flap and the port cover (B) from the battery charging port on the mower. ■■ Plug the charger into the DC battery charging port (B). ■■ Plug the charger into a AC power outlet. ■■ When the mower is charging, the digital display will show the charging screen only.
