Built-In Use & Care 22 Ice and Water Dispenser INTERNAL DISPENSER MODELS For internal dispenser models BI-42SID and BI-48SID, ice and chilled water is provided through the dispenser in the refrigerator section of the unit. The refrigerator door must be opened to access the dispenser. IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure the dispenser key pads are clean and dry to avoid problems with dispenser operation. The dispenser was designed to accommodate a 16-oz (.5 L) pint glass. Larger containers may be used however some may be too large which could compromise the effectiveness of the dispenser. The water tank holds approximately 50 oz (1.5 L) of filtered, chilled water. After the tank has been filled for the first time or if all 50 oz (1.5 L) have been dispensed at one time, drops of water may collect in the removable water grille which is located on the shelf directly below the dispenser. To operate the internal dispenser, open the refrigerator door and place a glass under the dispenser chute, located on the left interior wall of the refrigerator section. For ice, press and hold the ICE key pad on the dispenser until you have the ice you need. For water, press and hold the WATER key pad until the glass is filled. Refer to the illustration below.
