MANUAL CLOCK SETTING Make sure ... • Use the remote control for this procedure. • TVNCR power must be turned on. In the example below, the clock is to be set to: DATE March 1st, 1999 SETTING TIME 5:40PM Select "SETTING CLOCK" Press the MENU button. Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button to point to "SETTING CLOCK". Then, press the F.FWD/lio- button. -MENU-- TIMER PROGRAMMING PICTURE CONTROL ► SETTING CLOCK CHANNEL SET UP USER'S SET UP LANGUAGE [ENGLISH] ZERO RETURN TIME SEARCH 2 Select "MANUAL CLOCK SET" Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button to point to "MANUAL CLOCK SET". Then, press the F.FWD/ button. - SETTING CLOCK - AUTO CLOCK [ON] AUTO CLOCK CH [AUTO] P. MANUAL CLOCK SET as T [OFF] 3 Select the month Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired month appears. (Example: March --> 03) Then, press the F.FWD/II.- button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - ,Mr/1 DAY YEAR HOUR MINUTE 4 Select the day Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired day appears. (Example: 1st -> 01) Then, press the F.FWD/I10- button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - MONTH Or , . 03 YEAR HOUR - - MINUTE 5 Select the year Press the PLAY/A or STONY button until your desired year appears. (Example: 1999) Then, press the EFWD* button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - MONTH DAY 0 94P 03 / 01 MOMI•1999 No. HOUR MINUTE 6 Select the hour Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired hour appears. (Example: 5, PM) Then, press the F.FW11110- button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - MONTH DAY YEAR 03 / 01 MON 1999 ;,i7ci.r7; mv-Ft. 7 Select the minute Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until the desired minute appears. (Example: 40) - MANUAL CLOCK SET - MONTH DAY YEAR 03 / 01 MON 1999 HOUR s IIN' UTE 05 8 Start the clock Press the MENU button. 5:40PM Although seconds are not displayed, they begin counting from 00 when you press the MENU button. Use this feature to synchronize the clock with the correct time. NOTE: When unplugging the AC cord or if there is a power failure for more than 30 seconds, you may have to reset the clock. TO CHANGE CLOCK SETTING If you want to change the clock, 1) Follow steps [1] and [2]. 2) Select where you want to change using the F.FWD/110. or REW/411 button. 3) Enter correct numbers using the PLAY/A or STOP/V button. 4) Press the MENU button to start the clock. PLEASE NOTE: If there is no local PBS station in your area or on your cable system, select "AUTO CLOCK" and press the F.FWD/110- or REW/1 button to turn [OFF] this function.
