RECOR ING FUNC Before recording, make sure: • The desired channel is selected by pressing the number buttons on the remote control or the CHANNE Up/Down button. (If you connected the VCR t. a cable box or satellite box as in "Basic connecti ns" on page 6, select the VCR to channel 3 or 4 the ame channel as the CH3 or CH4 switch on the bac of the VCR. Then, select the channel you want to re ord at the cable box or satellite box. After the VCR has been in Pause mode for 5 minutes, it will stop automatically to protect the tape and the video head. 2) Stop the recording by pressing the STOP button when recording is completed. Or 12(One Touch Recording) This function enables you to set the recording length simply by pressing the REC/OTR button on the VCR. 1) Begin OTR by pressing the REC/OTR button on the VCR repeatedly until the desired recording length appears. • Recording stops when 0:00 is reached.
