3 - Preparation Precautions about using the remote control •• Remove the batteries if you do not plan to use the remote control for a long time (longer than a month). •• Using this remote control while other equipment that can be controlled with infrared rays is operating nearby might cause that equipment to function improperly. •• Aim the remote control unit at the remote sensor. Obstacles could interfere with operation by the remote control.
