Hardware Installation For Card Bus or PCI WLAN cards, simply insert the card into the computer's PCMCIA or PCI slot after running the setup file, and then restart the computer. After the computer boots back up, it will detect the wireless card and then start the New Hardware Found wizard. Respond to the prompts displayed by the wizard, select to allow Windows to install the driver, the operating system will find and load the driver automatically. If Windows prompts "... the device has not pass Windows logo testing..." or "...digital signature not found...", click "Continue Anyway". After the installation, find the configuration icon in the "task bar" on the lower right hand corner of the desktop. Launch the configuration by left clicking the Configuration Utility icon and selecting Advanced Configuration. (double-click the icon for Win XP). If the Configuration Utility icon is not displayed in the System Tray, you can restart the Configuration Utility from the Start Menu by selecting "Start", "Programs", "Wireless Network", and then "Wireless Utility". The Configuration Utility consists of window with four tabs: Link Information, Available Network, Profile Setting, and About. Please find information about these tabs in the User Guide (from the CD Autorun menu, select User's Guide and then select the product). 2
