TEW-753DAP User's Guide WPA, WPA2, Mixed WPA This group of wireless security settings uses remote key services, RADIUS, to secure your wireless connections. WPA2 is currently the most advanced wireless encryption. Choose this option if all of your devices support WPA2. Otherwise choose WPA or WPA & WPA2 mixed System Configuration WPA Type : Select TKIP, AES, or Both. The encryption algorithm used to secure the data communication. TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) provides per-packet key generation and is based on WEP. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is a very secure block based encryption. Note that, if the bridge uses the AES option, the bridge can associate with the access point only if the access point is also set to use only AES. RADIUS Server : IP address of RADIUS server RADIUS Port : RADIUS service port number. Default: 1812 RADIUS Secret: RADIUS service shared secret to authenticate this credential agent. Group Key Specify how often the wireless key should Update Interval : be renegotiated. Shorter time intervals are more secure, but cause more overhead. WPA, WPA2, Mixed WPA
This group of wireless security se±ngs uses remote key
services, RADIUS, to secure your wireless connec°ons.
WPA2 is currently the most advanced wireless encryp°on.
Choose this op°on if all of your devices support WPA2.
Otherwise choose WPA or WPA & WPA2 mixed
WPA Type :
Select TKIP, AES, or Both. The encryp°on
algorithm used to secure the data
communica°on. TKIP (Temporal Key
Integrity Protocol) provides per-packet
key genera°on and is based on WEP. AES
(Advanced Encryp°on Standard) is a very
secure block based encryp°on. Note that, if
the bridge uses the AES op°on, the bridge
can associate with the access point only if
the access point is also set to use only AES.
RADIUS Server :
IP address of RADIUS server
RADIUS Port :
RADIUS service port number. Default: 1812
RADIUS Secret:
RADIUS service shared secret to
authen°cate this creden°al agent.
