TRENDnet User's Guide Devices / Node Advanced Settings TEW-830MDR / TEW-830MDR2K WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) WPS is a feature that allows you to easily connect wireless client devices to your wireless router or mesh network. If you wireless client devices support WPS, you can tap the WPS button on the app to activate the WPS pairing process on your TEW-830MDR, then push the WPS button on your wireless client device to connect. The pairing process may take up to 2 minutes to complete. Samba Samba is a network protocol that allows you to access shared files through your network. In order to share files, you will need to plug in a USB storage device on the USB port of the TEW-830MDR. 1. Plug in USB storage device into the USB port. Select the correct device in the app that you plugged the USB storage device and enable Samba. 2. Under Windows®, you can access the USB storage device on your computer under Computer > Network > TRENDNETXXXXXX > sda1. Note: Each TEW-830MDR unit will be listed under Computer > Network section with the format TRENDNETXXXXXX (ex: TRENDNET459681, TRENDNET459682, etc.). If your Windows® computer is not able to discover any network devices, you may not have network discovery and file sharing enabled, therefore, you may need to set the network to a private network and turn the feature on in Windows® © Copyright 2020 TRENDnet. WPS (WiFi Protected Setup)
WPS is a feature that allows you to easily connect wireless client devices to your
wireless router or mesh network. If you wireless client devices support WPS, you can tap
the WPS button on the app to activate the WPS pairing process on your TEW-830MDR,

Samba
Samba is a network protocol that allows you to access shared files through your
