Note: To raise the mower, move the front cutting height levers rearward and the rear cutting height levers forward. Using the Self-propel Drive To operate the self-propel drive, simply walk with your hands on the upper handle and your elbows at your sides, and the mower will automatically keep pace with you (Figure 13). 8

Note:

Starting the Engine
1.
If the ignition switch on your mower (Figure 11) is a
toggle switch (with both an “I” and a “Stop”), push
the switch to the (“I”) position. Otherwise, go to
step 2.

Using the Self-propel Drive
