Introduction Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Setting up your TV Connecting a cable converter box This connection allows you to watch cable and premium channels. To use the TV's features, select ANT-1. To view premium channels, select ANT-2 and tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 (whichever channel is vacant in your area), then use the converter box to change channels. You will need: • two coaxial cables TV From Cable AUDIO CENTER CHANNEL IN ANT( 75 ) ANT-1 S-VIDEO ON OFF OUT OUT R L VAR AUDIO ANT-2 Y VIDEO L/ MONO CB L AUDIO R AUDIO CR COLOR R VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 STREAM INPUT IN DVD IN VIDEO L/ MONO AUDIO R OUT OUT IN Cable converter box Note: When you use a converter box with your TV, there may be features that you cannot program using the remote control, such as programming your favorite channels, labeling channels, and locking channels. Connecting a cable converter box and a VCR This connection allows you to watch and record basic and premium cable channels, watch videotapes, and record one channel while watching another channel. To use the TV's features, select ANT-1. To view premium channels or record with the VCR, select ANT-2, change the TV channel to 3 or 4 (whichever channel is vacant in your area), and then use the converter box to change channels. If you have an S-VHS VCR, use the S-video connections and omit the video cable. Do not connect the video cable and the S-video cable to Video-1 simultaneously.
