Introduction Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Adding and erasing channels manually After you have programmed the channels automatically, you can manually add or erase specific channels in the channel memory. To add or erase channels: 1. Select the channel you want to add or erase. If you are adding a channel, you must select the channel using the Channel Number buttons. 2. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears. 3. Press y or z to highlight ADD/ERASE. Setting up the TheaterLink on-screen IR device control feature With this setting, you can use the TV's remote control to control various devices (such as a VCR, DVD player, DVR, or laser disc player) by using the control icons displayed on the TV screen. To set up the TheaterLink IR device control feature: 1. Make sure you have properly connected the TheaterLink cable to your IR-controlled device(s). See page 15 for details. 2. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears. 3. Press y or z to highlight TheaterLink.
