Note: This feature will not work until you program channels into the TV's memory (see page 42). To scan the programmed channels: 1. Press CH SCAN. The TV automatically enters POP multi-window mode, and begins a seven-picture scan of your programmed channels. The channels displayed in the seven POP multi-windows will continue to change, to allow you to scan all programmed channels. 3 4 5 6 7 CABLE 10 8 9 10 2. Press yzx • to select one of the seven pictures, which becomes a moving picture. (The main picture is always moving .) 3. Press ENTER to display the channel you selected in step 2 as the main picture. To cancel the channel scan without changing the channel: Press EXIT. NOTICE OF POSSIBLE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON TV PICTURE TUBE Avoid displaying stationary images on your TV screen for extended periods of time. Fixed (non-moving) images (such as still PIP/POP windows or black/gray bars in wide-screen picture or PIP/POP formats) can become permanently engrained in the picture tube. Using the programmed channel scan feature
You can use this feature to quickly scan and tune the channels you programmed into
the TV

Note:
