It could cause damage or malfunction. Cooling vents The cooling vents help keep the processor from overheating. External monitor port This port provides 15-pin, analog VGA port. This port allows you to connect an external monitor to the computer. Some models are equipped with an external monitor port. Universal Serial Bus One Universal Serial Bus port, which complies to (USB 2.0) port the USB 2.0 standard, is provided on the left side of the computer. The port with the icon has Sleep and Charge function. Please note that it is not possible to confirm the operation of all functions of all USB devices that are available. In view of this it may be noted that some functions associated with a specific device might not operate properly. Do not block the cooling vents. Keep foreign metal objects, such as screws, staples and paper clips, out of the cooling vents, Memory media slot and USB port. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit, which can cause damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury. Microphone jack A standard 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a microphone or other device for audio input. The port with the icon has Sleep and Music function. The integrated sound system provides support for the computer's internal speakers and microphone, as allowing an external microphone and headphones to be connected via the appropriate jacks.
