Power Battery pack Slice Expansion Battery Hardware, Utilities and Options The computer is powered by one rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack increases your computer's operating time when main battery pack is also installed. RTC battery AC adaptor Disks Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time Clock (RTC) and calendar. The AC adaptor provides power to the system and recharges the batteries when they are low. It comes with a detachable power cord which will either have a 2-pin or 3-pin plug enclosure. As the AC adaptor is universal, it can receive a range of AC voltages from 100 to 240 volts, however you should note that the output current varies among different models. Using the wrong adaptor can damage your computer. Refer to the AC adaptor section in Chapter 2, The Grand Tour. This computer is equipped with one of the following Hard Disk Drive (HDD) types. The capacity of each hard disk drive model is different. Some models are equipped with a Solid State Drive (SSD) instead of a hard disk drive. ■ HDD ■ 160GB ■ 250GB ■ 320GB ■ SSD ■ 128GB Please note that part of the hard disk or Solid state drive's overall capacity is reserved as administration space. Additional HDD/SSD drive sizes may be introduced. User's Manual 3-3
