Controlling Your TV with the Supplied Remote The remote control can be compatible with various brands of TV by setting their control codes. The TOSHIBA code has initially been set to control TOSHIBA TVs. SETTING TV CONTROL CODES 1. While holding down PROG/MEMO. button, enter the two digits of your TV's brand code (listed on page 39) using number buttons. 2. Release PROG/MEMO. By pressing POWER CH (4/3) VOLUME (+/-) INPUT You can Turn the TV on or off. To select TV channels in the upper or lower direction. Adjust the volume of the TV. Switch the TV's input source between the TV and other input sources. Important Some TVs may not respond to all the operations above, or may not be operated at all with this remote control.
