Basic playback SKIP CLEAR PLAY /// ENTER T Number buttons DVD VCD CD Locating a desired section by entering the corresponding number 1Press T. If you are using a VIDEO CD/audio CD, skip step 2. Then at step 3, enter the number for the track you want using the number buttons. e.g. SEARCH Search T Time --:--:-- Title /Chapter ---/--- 2Press / /to s/elect a section (Time or Title/Chaper) you want to locate. e.g. Search Time --:--:-- Title /Chapter 011/005 Make sure that the spaces next to the Time or Title/Chapter are highlighted. 3Press the number buttons to enter a number of the section. 4Repeat steps 2 and 3 if necessary. 5Press ENTER. Playback starts from the selected section. ENTER Notes  Pressing the CLEAR button resets the numbers. To clear the display, press the T button repeatedly until the menu disappears.  This method of locating a title is available only on a disc that contains title numbers. SKIP To locate succeeding chapter or tracks. SKIP Playback starts from the beginning of the current chapter or track. when you press twice, playback starts from the beginning of the preceding chapter or track. Notes  Some titles may not display chapter numbers.  If you press the SKIP or button on the front panel during playback, the DVD video player performs fast reverse or fast forward playback. You can vary the speed by pressing the button repeatedly. . 29
