Introduction Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0) The computer has Universal Serial Bus ports that comply with the USB 2.0 standard, which enables data transfer speeds 40 times faster than the USB 1.1 standard. (The ports also support USB 1.1.) Ports with the icon ( ) have USB Sleep and Charge function. eSATA/USB combo eSATA/USB combo port port supports the USB port 2.0 and the eSATA function. i.LINK (IEEE1394a) This port enables high-speed data transfer directly from external devices such as digital video cameras. TV In This port allows you to connect a coaxial cable for viewing cable TV on your computer. (Depends on the model you purchased) Infrared receiver window This window receives signals from the remote control which is provided with your computer. (Depends on the model you purchased) Slots ExpressCard Multiple Digital Media Card Slot Multimedia The ExpressCard expansion slot that can accommodate two standard module formats; an ExpressCard/34 module and an ExpressCard/54 module. An ExpressCard module is a small addin card technology based on the PCI Express and Universal Serial Bus (USB) interfaces. Supports SD/SDHC memory card, MMC, MEMORY STICK, MEMORY STICK PRO and xD Picture card. Web Camera Sound System Record/Send still or video images with this integrated webcam. (provided with some models) A Windows Sound System that provides speakers as well as jacks for an external microphone and headphones. User's Manual 1-10
