The Grand Tour Keep foreign objects out of the Bridge media slot. Never allow metal objects, such as screws, staples and paper clips, to enter the PC or keyboard. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit, which can cause PC damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury. Wireless communication switch Slide this switch to the left to turn off Wireless LAN and Bluetooth functions. Slide it to the right to turn on the functions. All models are provided with a Wireless Communication switch although only some models are equipped with both Wireless LAN and Bluetooth functions. ■ Turn WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities off when near a person who may have a cardiac pacemaker implant or other medical electric device. Radio waves may affect pacemaker or medical device operation, possibly resulting in serious injury. Follow the instruction of your medical device when using any WiFi or Bluetooth functionality. ■ Always turn off WiFi or Bluetooth functionality if the PC is near automatic control equipment or appliances such as automatic doors or fire detectors. Radio waves can cause malfunction of such equipment, possibly resulting in serious injury. ■ Do not use the WiFi or Bluetooth functionalities near a microwave oven or in areas subject to radio interference or magnetic fields. Interference from a microwave oven or other source can disrupt WiFi or Bluetooth operation. Optical disc drive External monitor port The computer is configured with a DVDROM&CD-R/RW drive or a DVD Super Multi drive. This external monitor port lets you connect an external video display. Universal Serial Bus Two Universal Serial Bus ports are on the right (USB 2.0) ports side. The ports comply with the USB 2.0 standard. User's Manual 2-5
