9. Authentication Note: The libldap library is particular about ensuring SSL connections are using certificates signed by a trusted CA. As such, it is often not easy to set up a connection to an LDAP server using SSL. Perform the following procedure to configure the LDAP authentication method used whenever the console server or any of its serial ports or hosts are accessed: • Select Serial and Network: Authentication and check LDAP or LocalLDAP or LDAPLocal or LDAPDownLocal. 172
