Read, understand, and follow all Headlight instructions and warnings on the machine and in this manual before operating. The headlight is located on top of the handle panel and is automatically turned on when the engine is started. Shift Lever Heated Grip The shift lever is located on the right side of the handle panel and is used to determine both the ground speed and direction of travel. It can be moved into any of eight positions. Caution: It is recommended that you wear gloves when using the heated grip. If the heated grip becomes too hot, turn it off. Forward Your snow thrower has six forward (F) speeds, with position number one (1) being the slowest. Reverse Your snow thrower has two reverse (R) speeds, with position number one (1) being the slowest. NOTE: Always release the drive control before changing speeds. To activate the heated grips, move the switch found on the rear of the dash panel into the ON position. To turn off the heated grips, move the switch found on the rear of the dash panel to the OFF position. 12

Shift Lever
The shift lever is located on the right side of the handle panel
and is used to determine both the ground speed and direction of
travel. It can be moved into any of eight positions.
Forward
Your snow thrower has six forward (F) speeds, with position
number one (1) being the slowest.
Reverse
Your snow thrower has two reverse (R) speeds, with position
number one (1) being the slowest.
NOTE:
Always release the drive control before changing speeds.
Headlight
The headlight is located on top of the handle panel and is
automatically turned on when the engine is started.
Heated Grip
CAUTION:
It is recommended that you wear gloves
when using the heated grip. If the heated grip
becomes too hot, turn it off.
To activate the heated grips, move the switch found on the rear
of the dash panel into the ON position. To turn off the heated
grips, move the switch found on the rear of the dash panel to the
OFF position.
