PowerVIEW HD-22 & HD-30 Firmware Updates 12) After the update has successfully completed, close the Vaddio Loader and disconnect the camera power. Return the rotary switch and dip switches to their original positions. Reconnect camera power and the camera will reboot. Step-by-Step Instructions (Camera Video): 1) Download and save the firmware update file for the camera named PowerVIEW HD-22/HD-30 (Video) update located here http://support.vaddio.com/resources#cat_3. 2) With the camera unplugged from power supply, set the Resolution rotary switch to "C" and set Camera Settings dip switch 3 to the up position and dip switch 10 to the down position. 3) Using the same PC com port and serial connection, reopen the Vaddio Loader. 4) Select Camera under the Product Type and select PowerVIEW HD-22 (video) from the drop down menu at the top of the page (same step for the HD-30). 5) Click on Set for the first blank line and browse to where the firmware for the camera was saved (from step 1). 6) Click on Set Dfn on the second line and browse to where the definition file is located. 7) Reconnect the power supply (or Cat-5 cable to EZ-Power Video port or CCU slot card) and the camera will initialize in boot loader mode. The red tally light on the front of the camera will blink slow then fast and then stop, indicating it is ready to proceed. 8) Click Start to load the video firmware updates. There will be an indication when the load is complete. Please do not interrupt the firmware load. 9) After the update has successfully completed, close the Vaddio Loader and disconnect the camera power. 1)
Download and save the firmware update file for the camera named PowerVIEW HD-22/HD-30 (Video) update
located here
