Installation Guide USB 3.0 Back Cover Screws location(6) Rugged USB 3.0 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD enclosure Remove the Six screws holding the back cover Red edge to remove cover 1. Verify the package contents. Front 2. Parts Layout. Back Back 3. Turn to the back and remove the six screws hold the back cover. 4. Pry along the red edge shown above to remove the back cover. Peel and tape provided pad here For 7mm SSD only Insert Drive SATA connector side Enclosure SATA connector side Cover inside view PAD Note: Position of PAD align with top of drive 5. If you are using 7mm drive like a SSD, tape the provided pad shown above. Align SATA interface Fully inserted 6. Insert your SSD/HDD shown with the Drive SATA connector facing up all the way into the Enclosure SATA connector. Make sure the SATA connectors seats securely into each other. Put cover back and secure with the six screws 7. Place cover back securely to provide a tight seal and secure with the six screws. 8. If your SSD/HDD is new, it must be initialize, partition and formatted using the OS before using. If the SSD/HDD have existing data, the le manager should be able to see your les.
