Surface Burner Conversion

Surface Burner Conversion Remove grates, surface burner caps and frenchtop (if applicable) Surface Burner Conversion -Locate appropriate orifice -Remove screw (Item #1) flat-head screwdriver. -Lay the burner flange to side - do not disconnect the igniter wire. (Item #2). -Use a nut driver to remove orifice (Item #3). -Replace with correct orifice - refer to next page. Tech tip: Tape can be applied to the inside of the socket to assist in the removal of the surface burner orifices. This can prevent the orifices from falling into the range during removal. -After replacing the orifice, replace Item#2 burner flange. -Reinstall screw and reverse procedure to reassemble. NOTE: For proper placement of the burner head, rotate until burner head seats into groove. Frenchtop Burner Conversion -Remove frenchtop plate. -Remove screws around burner. -Remove screws holding burner box. -Slide burner box forward and lift out. -Orifice is located under orifice bracket, attached to tubing. -Use a nut driver to remove orifice.
