Trouble Shooting Guide PROBLEM 1. Oven will not function. 2. Oven does not operate in self-clean. 3. Oven is not clean after self-clean cycle. 4. Broil does not work. 5. Door will not open. 6. Oven light will not work. POSSIBLE CAUSE AND/OR REMEDY Oven is not connected to electrical power. Have electrician check power circuit breaker, wiring and fuses. Door is not shut tight enough for automatic door latch to lock. Temperature control knob not rotated all the way past clean until it stops. Temperature control knob is rotated too far past broil position. Oven is still in self-clean mode. If oven is hot, door latch will release when a safe temperature is reached. Light bulb is burned out. Oven is not connected to power. 7. Strong odor and/or smoke This is normal burn-off of insulation and is noticed first few time oven protecitve oils in the oven. This will go away is used. after using oven a few times. Service Information If your oven should fail to operate, check to see whether the circuit breaker is open or the fuse is blown.
