VIZIO SV422XVT HDTV User Manual Name Input This feature makes it easier for you to recognize the devices you have connected to your HDTV when you press INPUT. For example, if you have a Blu-Ray DVD player connected to the HDMI1 input, you can have the input label read HDMI-1 BluRay instead of just HDMI-1. You can select from 10 preset labels or you can make your own custom label that is up to 24 characters long and contains letters, numbers, and/or symbols. To use one of the 10 preset labels: 1. Highlight Input Source, and then press OK to show the list of inputs. 2. Press ▼ to select the input label you want to change, and then press OK. 3. Highlight Input Labels, and then press OK to show the list of 10 preset labels. 4. Press ▼ to select the new input label name, and then press OK. To make your own custom label: 1. Highlight Input Source, and then press OK to show the list of inputs. 2. Press ▼ to select the input label you want to change, and then press OK. 3. Press ▼ until the cursor is in the blank space under Input Labels. 4. Slide the remote control open and begin typing in a new label name. You can also select Show Keyboard and use the on-screen keyboard instead of the remote control. 5. Highlight and select Done when you have finished changing the names of the input labels. Device Setup This feature allows you to add devices to your HDTV and control them with your VIZIO remote control. This feature was also available during the initial Setup App. Note: The feature is not available in TV mode. Once the input source is changed from TV to the selected device input, the remote will control that device. Note: this option is not available when the Input Source is set to TV. Input Source Select the input source your device is connected to on your HDTV. Choose from TV, AV (Composite), Comp (Component), HDMI-1, HDMI-2, HDMI-3, HDMI Side, and RGB (VGA). Pick Device Type Select the type of device that is connected to your HDTV. Choose from VCR, DVD Player, Blu-Ray Player, Sat Receiver, Cable Box, DVR, or None. Name Input
This feature makes it easier for you to recognize the devices you have connected to your HDTV when
you press
INPUT
. For example, if you have a Blu-Ray DVD player connected to the HDMI1 input, you can
have the input label read

Device Setup
