Installation Install handset battery • Remove battery compartment cover by pressing on the indentation and sliding it downwards (only for 6044). • Align the two holes in the plug with the socket pins according to the color-coded label in the battery compartment, then snap the plug into place. • Place the battery into the compartment. • Position the battery compartment cover and slide it upwards until it clicks into place. • Put the handset in the telephone base or the charger to charge the new battery for at least 16 hours. The battery may have enough charge for short calls. For best performance, charge it for at least 16 hours. You can keep the battery charged by returning the handset to the telephone base or charger after each use. When the battery power is fully depleted, a full recharge takes about 16 hours. Install handset battery
•
Remove battery compartment cover by press±ng on the ±ndentat±on and sl±d±ng ±t downwards (only
for 6044).
• Al±gn the two holes ±n the plug w±th the socket p±ns accord±ng to the color-coded label ±n the
battery compartment, then snap the plug ±nto place.
• Place the battery ±nto the compartment.
•
Pos±t±on the battery compartment cover and sl±de ±t upwards unt±l ±t cl±cks ±nto place.
• Put the handset ±n the telephone base or the charger to charge the new battery for at least 16
hours. The battery may have enough charge for short calls. For best performance, charge ±t for at
