Multiple handset use Join a call in progress You can use up to two handsets at the same time on an outside call. You can buy additional expansion handsets (CS6509/CS6509-14/CS6509-15/ CS6509-16) for this telephone base. You can register up to five handsets to the telephone base. To share an outside call: • When a handset is already on a call and you would like to join the call, press or on the other handset. • To exit the call, press OFF or place the handset in the telephone base or charger. The call continues until both handsets hang up. 25
