Instructions & Activities 2. MODE SELECTOR BUTTON To select a mode of play, press the MODE SELECTOR BUTTON on Teddy's left ear to select PLAY MODE ( ) or MUSIC MODE( ). The unit will always default to the PLAY MODE when first turned on. 3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Care & Learn Teddy™ learning toy will automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off switch to turn the unit on, then select a mode of play. You will hear a fun phrase and sing-along song in the play mode. In the music mode, you will hear a fun phrase and a short tune. The light-up nose will flash with the sound. 2. Press Teddy's right ear, hands, right foot and tummy to learn about body parts and hear fun sounds in the play mode. In the music mode, you will hear fun sounds and melodies.
