There are two types of two player modes. One is head to head competition and the other involves both players taking turns to answer questions. 1. Head to Head Competition When a question is displayed, the two players need to press their corresponding player keys, PLAYER 1 or PLAYER 2, as quickly as possible to have the chance to answer the question. The player who presses the button first gets to answer first. If the first player answers incorrectly, the other player will receive a chance to answer. 2. Taking Turns When a question is displayed, either player 1 or player 2 has the first chance to answer. When player 1 or player 2 finishes answering his or her question, then it's the next player's turn.
