Product Features/Activities • Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • The toy is not to be connected to more than the recommended number of power supplies. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. To turn the unit OFF, press the ON/OFF/HEART BUTTON again. 2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Happy Lights BearTM will automatically power-down after about 45 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the ON/OFF HEART BUTTON. ACTIVITIES 1. Press the ON/OFF HEART BUTTON to turn the unit ON. You will hear the bear giggle, followed by a fun phrase and a sung song. The lights will flash with the sounds.
