Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw. Then, remove the cover. 3. If a depleted battery is present, remove it by pulling up on one end of the battery. 4. Install a new AA (LR6/AM-3) battery following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance). 5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure. 3

INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Removal and Installation
1. Make sure the unit is turned
OFF
.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver
to loosen the screw. Then, remove
the cover.
3.
If a depleted battery is present,
remove it by pulling up on one end of
the battery.
4. Install a new AA (LR6/AM-3) battery
following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new
alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
