AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Touch & Teach Elephant™ will automatically power-down after approximately 45 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the mode selector switch to choose a mode of play. You will hear a cheerful song and an instructional phrase. The lights will flash along with the sounds. 2. Press the light-up buttons to do the following: learn letters, animals names and sounds, objects and more in Letter Mode; read interesting short stories with fun sounds and short tunes in Story Mode; and hear a variety of short tunes and melodies in Music Mode. In all modes, the lights will flash with the sounds. 5
