CARE & MAINTENANCE 1. Keep your Recharging Dock clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. Never use solvents or abrasives. 2. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from direct sources of heat. 3. Remove the batteries when not using it for an extended period of time. 4. Avoid dropping it. Never try to dismantle it. 5. Always keep the Recharging Dock away from water. TROUBLESHOOTING CARE & MAINTENANCE Problem The Charging indicator does not light while the V.SMILE Pocket™ unit is on the Recharging Dock. Solution Inspect the AC/DC Adaptor: Check that the plug is securely connected to the Adaptor jack of the charger and the adaptor connected to the main AC power. Lift up the V.SMILE Pocket™ and then place it back down on the charger. Make sure that the V.SMILE Pocket™ is touching the switch on the front of Recharging Dock. Check that the rechargeable battery is correctly installed in the V.SMILE Pocket™. Make sure the connector pins on the charger and the metal contact on the rechargeable battery pack are clean and free of debris. The Charging indicator
