MAINTENANCE AWARNING To avoid risk of fire, electric shock, or electrocution: • Do not use a damp cloth or detergent on the battery or battery charger. • Always remove the battery pack before cleaning, inspecting, or performing any maintenance on the sweeper. BATTERY PACK • Lithium-ion batteries while in use will continue to provide full power without power fade unlike typical batteries; when the battery is fully discharged the battery circuitry will immediately cut power to the tool and require immediate charging. • Store the battery pack fully charged. • Lithium-ion batteries do not develop a memory and can be charged at any time. • Once the battery is fully charged it is recommended to disconnect the charger from the power source, the battery may be stored in the charger until next use. • It is recommended to remove the battery from the sweeper while not in use. ACAUTION Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic housing or plastic components. Certain household cleaners may damage and may also cause a shock hazard. 14
