4. Remove the shipping tie from the Left Handrail (4) and Handrail Spacer (3). Attach the Left Handrail and 4 Handrail Spacer to the left Upright (38) with two Handrail Bolts (1) and Handrail Washers (70) as 4 shown. Make sure that the ramps on the Handrail Spacer is on the inside as shown. Do not tighten the 70 Handrail Bolts until step 5 is completed. 38 32 Ramps 3 53 38 3 1 Remove the shipping tie from the Right Handrail (32) 70 and Handrail Spacer (3). Hold the Handrail Spacer against the right Upright (38) and feed the excess 1 Wire Harness (53) into the right Upright. Attach the Right Handrail and Handrail Spacer to the right Upright with two Handrail Bolts (1) and Handrail 5 Washers (70). Do not tighten the Handrail Bolts until step 5 is completed. 53 67 5. Set the Console Base (67) on the Handrails (4, 32). Route the Wire Harness (53) as shown. Attach the Wire Harness to the Right Handrail (32) with the Harness Clip (103) and a Handrail Screw (5); do not fully tighten the Handrail Screw yet. Then loosely thread the other three Handrail Screws (5) into the 32 Console Base. After all four Screws are threaded, firm- ly tighten the Screws. Be careful not to overtighten the Screws. Insert the excess Wire Harness (53) into 6 the Right Handrail. 103 5 4 5 Tighten the four Handrail Bolts (1) used in step 4. 6. Remove the backing from the Adhesive Clip (80). Press the Adhesive Clip onto the right Upright (38) in the indicated location. Press the Allen Wrench (81) into the Adhesive Clip. 38 81 80 7. The Console (11) requires three "AA" batteries (not included); alkaline batteries are recommended. Open the Battery Cover (12) as shown. Press three batteries into the battery compartment, with the negative (Ð) ends of the batteries touching the springs. Close the battery cover, push up on the battery cover tab, and then push the tab forward as shown in the inset drawing. Be sure that the tab locks into place. 7 11 12 Batteries Battery Cover Tab 8. Make sure that all parts are tight before you use the treadmill. (Note: The ratchet screws shown at the far right are factory set and should not be adjusted.)
