To open bottles: 1. Hold top of can opener to stabilize the unit. Open bottles slowly to avoid spilling contents. CLEANING YOUR ELECTRIC CAN OPENER 1. Unplug cord from electrical outlet. 2. To remove the cutting head attachment, press release button. 3. Wash cutting head attachment in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly; or the cutting head attachment may be placed in top rack of dishwasher. 4. Wipe the can opener body and the area behind cutting head attachment with a damp cloth. Never immerse the can opener in water. 5. To re-assemble, slide the cutting head attachment onto the body until the release button clicks into place.
