CONTROL PANEL AND FEATURES 1 2 3 4 5 6 Not all features and cycles are available on all models. 1 POWER BUTTON Press to turn the dryer on and off. Press again to stop/cancel a cycle at any time. 2 CYCLE CONTROL KNOB Use your dryer's cycle control knob to select available cycles on your dryer. Turn the knob to select a cycle for your laundry load. See "Cycle Guide" for detailed descriptions of cycles. 3 EST. TIME REMAINING DISPLAY When you select a cycle, its default settings will light up and the Estimated Time Remaining (for Automatic Cycles) or actual time remaining (for Manual Cycles) will be displayed. 4 DONE/SENSING DISPLAY D one This will indicate that the selected cycle has ended and the load may be removed from the dryer. If the Wrinkle Shield option has been selected, the dryer may continue to tumble the load, even if the DONE indicator is lit. S ensing At the beginning of an Automatic Cycle, the sensing light illuminates as the dryer senses the load size and adjusts for the appropriate dry time for that load. This indicator will not light during Timed Cycles or with options such as Wrinkle Shield™. 5 ECO MONITOR Your dryer is specially designed to conserve energy. Each cycle, along with selected options, will result in different energy usage, which will be displayed on the Eco Monitor bar, allowing you to choose the best energy usage for each load. 6 START/PAUSE BUTTON Press to start a cycle, or press once while a cycle is in process to pause it. 7 CYCLE OPTIONS Use these buttons to select available options for your dryer. Not all cycles and options are available on all models. Eco Boost (on some models) Press to activate Eco Boost option on select Automatic cycles. The Eco Boost option allows you to increase your energy savings with minimal impact on cycle dry times. NOTE: Selecting the Eco Boost option adds 5 minutes to the default cycle time. 8 7 Static Reduce (on some models) Press to add the Static Reduce option to select cycles (see Cycle Guide). The dryer will automatically tumble and spray to introduce a small amount of moisture into the load to help reduce static. This option adds approximately 8 minutes to the total cycle time. Damp Dry Signal When selected, a signal will sound during the drying cycle when the load is damp but not completely dry. This will allow you to take clothes out of the load that do not need to dry completely. This option is available on Heavy Duty, Normal, Sheets, Active Wear, Towels, Casual, Jeans, and Delicate cycles. It is a default option for the Bulky Items cycle. Wrinkle Shield™/Wrinkle Shield™ with Steam (on some models) If you will be unable to remove a load immediately, press WRINKLE SHIELD™ to add up to 140 minutes of periodic tumbling to help reduce wrinkling. On models with Wrinkle Shield™ with Steam, a short steam cycle is added after 60 minutes to help smooth out wrinkles. Cycle Signal Use this button to turn the signal indicating the end of a drying cycle on or off, or to adjust the volume of the signal. C heck Vent Indicator Light The Check Vent indicator light will come on if a blocked vent or low airflow issue is detected. For more information on maintaining good airflow, see "Check Your Vent System for Good Airflow". 8 CYCLE MODIFIERS Use these buttons to select available modifiers for your cycles. Not all cycles and modifiers are available on all models. Dryness Level You may adjust the Dryness Level on Automatic Cycles, if desired. NOTE: The Dryness Level modifier is for use with Automatic Cycles only. Not available on the Sanitize cycle. Temp When using Manual Cycles only, you may select a dry temperature based on the type of load you are drying. Use the warmest setting safe for the garments in the load. Follow garment label instructions. NOTE: Automatic Cycles use a preset temperature that is not adjustable. 5
