PROBLEM Display shows messages Self-Cleaning Cycle will not operate Oven cooking results not what expected POSSIBLE CAUSES Power failure (display shows flashing time) Error code (display shows letter followed by number) Start needs to be pressed so a cycle can begin (display shows "PUSH" or "PSH"). The oven door is not closed. The Self-Cleaning function has not been entered correctly. A Timed Cooking function has been entered. The range is in Sabbath Mode. Range is not level. The temperature set was incorrect. Oven temperature needs adjustment. Oven was not preheated. Racks were positioned improperly. Not enough air circulation around bakeware. Batter distributed unevenly in pan Darker browning of food caused by dull or dark bakeware Lighter browning of food caused by shiny or light colored bakeware Incorrect length of cooking time was used. Oven door was not closed. Oven door was opened during cooking. Rack is too close to bake burner, making baked items too brown on bottom. Pie crusts browning too quickly. SOLUTIONS Clear the display. On some models, reset the clock, if needed. See "Clock" keypad feature in the "Feature Guide" section. Depending on your model, press CANCEL to clear the display. Use aluminum foil to cover the edge of the crust and/or reduce baking temperature. 14
