Instruction Sheet for Ice Maker kit WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock. Kit Contains: 2 Module Covers 2 Wire Harnesses 1 Ice Maker (with no Harness) 1 Shut Off Arm (with no Extension) 1 Instruction Sheet 1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power. 2. Remove ice bin by depressing push button on side of ice bin cover. Pull ice bin upward and slide out of ice box compartment. See Figure 1. push button IMPORTANT: Be sure to use the correct harness and module cover for your unit. See Figure 5. 6. If you are working on a 22 cubic foot model, proceed to next step. If you are working on a 25 cubic foot model, proceed to step 20. 22 cuft 25 cuft switch figure 1 3. Depress the tab holding the ice maker wire harness cover and slide cover forward. Use a straight blade screwdriver to remove the ice maker module cover. Remove H-Tap connector. See Figure 6. NOTE: You may see a Type A or a Type B module. type A type b screw H-Tap connector figure 6 8. Disconnect connectors to switch in old module cover. Remove switch from old module cover, set aside. Use a straight blade screwdriver to remove the ice maker
module cover. Remove H-Tap connector. See
Figure 6.

You may see a Type A or a Type B module.

Disconnect connectors to switch in old module cover.
Remove switch from old module cover, set aside. Discard
old module cover.
